Happy 1 year thiswildheart.com (and that means I also just turned 29-YIKES)! I initially created TWH to test the waters of the blog world but more so to explore what other social outlets were out there beyond the Instagram platform. With all blogging came its challenges: to create unique and creative content on a regular basis (key word is regular folks!). Truthfully, the struggle was real in the last year mostly due to having to juggle a full-time job, plan a wedding, keeping up with the Instagram account and of course there was real life in between. I really felt like I was being stretched and lacked time.
This past year has been both challenging and life changing to say the least. I’ve learned so much about myself that it has helped me shape what TWH will look like as we grow. I’ve put time aside on weekends for blog posts, planning and exploring to create content for the months ahead and even acquired some manpower to join the team!
When it comes down to it, TWH is truly a personal reflection of my lifestyle from food to style to aesthetic. My intention is to encourage and help cultivate in you, the readers, to develop a life well-lived as you see fit, whatever and however it may be.
PS. 2 9 never felt better! In the past year I’ve done a whole lot of crazy things: started a blog, traveled to NYC, planned a wedding, got married, went on a honeymoon to San Fran, hiked 13 hours in Yosemite National Park, drove down Highway 1, explored LA, flew to paradise aka Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora, and moved out and moved in with the in-laws, all while still holding a full-time job, being a wife, sister, friend and daughter. LIFE IS GOING TO GET EVEN MORE CRAZY IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS but I’m excited for this new year and what it will bring. I just wanted to thanks for following along and being part of the journey!
