I don’t I know anyone who truly enjoys doing the dishes. I mean seriously, it’s my least favourite chore hands down! So, when LG Canada Home Appliances reached out to me about getting an upgrade on our existing dishwasher, I was ecstatic to say the least. However, I realized that we spend a lot of time over my in-laws place. You guys remember we used to live there for over a year before our home was built right? But, with Miles now in the picture and my in-laws just a short car ride away, we make almost daily visits as part of our weekly routine. Plus, with Miles basically eating everything we eat now, the dishes start to pile up like never before.
We decided it was time for an upgrade for them and that because we’re basically there all the time, we would have it installed there! I mean, we pretty much live there most days so I’m just going to be real about that fact all together. We received the LG Top Control Dishwasher with QuadWash Steam and boy I did not know I could love the look of a dishwasher – but I instantly fell in love with its clean lines and minimalistic look (something you guys know I’m a sucker for)!
Well, it’s cute, but does it really clean well? Can you tell the difference? Let me just say that I wish we kept it for ourselves (joking…maybe). Have you watched Miles eat and how incredibly long it takes for him to finish his meals? By the time he’s done, there are crusted stains in his bowls, plate and sippy. Let me just start with this…no pre-washing is necessary. Yep, you read that right. TrueSteam technology helps reduce the inconvenience of pre-washing dishes and its hot and pure steam removes baked-on, caked-on food from your dishes, sanitizes and reduces excess water spots all at the same time.
My favourite feature however is the EasyRack Plus feature. Also known as the ability to easily adjust the racks and including a THIRD TOP RACK. It’s genius and perfect for all of Miles’ little spoons that used to get stuck in the bottom of the old dishwasher because it wouldn’t fit in the utensil holder and it’s fall out of the top rack.
After about two weeks of testing out the LG Top Control Dishwasher with QuadWash Steam, I can say that it works for our growing family, plus I’m pretty sure my husband has no problem loading the dishwasher anymore! Click here for more features not mentioned in this post.
