[zephyr_dropcaps style=”withbg” firstcolor=”#333333″ bgcolor=””]H[/zephyr_dropcaps]ere’s to Part two of our recent honeymoon: SF, Yosemite, Malibu and LA.
San Francisco.
> Sightglass Coffee: One of the most beautiful coffee shops I’ve ever visited. You can smell the aromatic coffee from down the block!
> Heath Ceramics Café – A unique combination of ceramic store and legendary Sausalito studio founded in 1954 by Edith Heath. The old Mission Linen factory building holds the Heath showroom, gallery, viewing atrium, and Blue Bottle café.
> Sutro Baths – Ruins left of the world’s largest indoor swimming pool establishment which sits directly on the Pacific Ocean on the northwest edge of San Francisco. A perfect place to watch the sunset.
> Yosemite – absolutely breathtaking and deserves a blog post on it’s own (coming soon). It’s famed for its giant, ancient sequoia trees, gorgeous hiking trails and of course the granite cliffs of El Capitan and Half Dome (which we climbed -stay tuned for more about this crazy 13 hour hike)! This National Park is a must-see!
> Highway 1 – Carmel by the Sea, a quaint and charming little town by the ocean. (It reminded me of Cannon Beach, Oregon Coast, anyone else feel the same?).
> Highway 1 – Malibu, or in particular Malibu Farm Resto, a great spot to grab lunch and the freshest juices. If you walk all the way down the pier, you can enjoy some grub at Malibu Farm Café right over the ocean.
LA – My favourite thing to do was simply walking around the boardwalk at Venice Beach and shopping along all the cute boutiques on Abbot Kinney Blvd. I’ve been looking forward to visiting The Line Hotel including their greenhouse incased resto/bar Commissary ever since it started popping up on my Instagram feed. We enjoyed coffee + fresh juice here on our last morning.
