The reason for our travels to Jamaica this summer was to celebrate the true meaning of #onelove. My husband and I were part of a wedding party and what a fun wedding it was! Congrats lovebirds – Mike + Natalia!
I’ll be honest, my first choice vacation destination is not an all-inclusive resort, however, this one was a bit different. First, we traveled with a close group of friends for the first time! We pretty much hung out all week by the sea and under the sun, sipping on piña coladas and lining up for jerk chicken every lunch. We also explored outside of the resort and enjoyed two separate all day excursions trekking up Dunn’s River Falls and diving at the Blue Hole (which I’d highly recommend)! Second to that, the resort itself was absolutely stunning. It was an Instagrammer’s dream: white walls covered with tropical plants and palm trees. We stayed at the beautiful Grand Bahia Principe resort in Runaway Bay. The resort itself is massive and connects directly to its sister resort, Luxury Bahia Principe which is a bit more in cost, but in my opinion totally worth the few extra dollars for the upgaded accomodations, adult only presence and quiet ambiance. Nonetheless, the week long trip was one for the books and we’re looking forward to our next adventure this summer!
Here’s a small photo journal of our trip. Despite being on “vacation mode”, I was able to capture a few shots through my Iphone and Fuji camera throughout the trip 🙂
